Being in Scotland again was wonderful! Driving around on our own was fun and incredibly easy, though at times hair-raising if we met an oncoming lorry on a narrow two-lane road. Fortunately, those encounters were rare. It was springtime in the Highlands and everything was either green or blooming. Lamb twins bounced around their mothers in the fields, yet snow still capped the tops of the Munros.
The vistas would steal your breath. I’ll share some of my photos in this and several following posts, so check back often to see what I’ve added!
As you can tell from these pictures from our first afternoon, the weather was changeable, but we never let a quick shower deter us. There was too much to see and do!
Check back later for more pictures!
