a-to-z-letters-bI’m in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge for the month of April.  I need your help!  To meet this challenge, I’ll be doing one post a day, working through the alphabet.

Your job is to comment and keep me motivated!  Let me know you’re out there and following along.  Can she make it?  Will she?  Of course she will!  With you as my cheering section, I won’t be stumped by J or Q or even X.

So without further ado, here is today’s post.

B is for Bunnahabhain.  What’s that, you say?  Only my hubby’s favorite single malt Scotch whisky. It’s pronounced “boon-a-havn”. It’s an Islay, pronounced “I-la” which means it is made on the island of Islay, where several other top whiskys are also produced.  But Bunnahabhain is very different than the typical Islay whisky.  The twelve-year-old’s flavor has been described as mild, nutty and fruity, with only a hint of peaty smokiness.

Why am I telling you about a Scottish whisky?  Because whisky plays an important role in Highland Seer, the second book in my Highland Talents series, due out later this year.  So, I’m going to sneak at least one whisky a week into this challenge.  Check back often so you don’t miss out!

Thanks for including the pronunciation guide! I would have been boondoggled without it. I love reading about Scotland in the 1500s – glad to see your books are available for Kindle.
