Highland Seer’s revisions are done. I’m waiting on the line edits. In the meantime, I’m working on book 3, Highland Troth. So here is a snippet from Highland Troth. Jamie and Caitrin are reminiscing about a time that was not one of Jamie’s finest moments. Enjoy!
“Ye told me they were ancient druidic markings. Secret signs marking a place of ceremony and sacrifice. That wasna true, was it?”
Jamie thought back to that day. Caitrin had tagged along with him and Toran, as usual. Toran had done his best to ignore her, but Jamie had started telling stories, and by the time they reached the old stone bridge, Caitrin was primed for the biggest story of all.

Highland Healer is available now at all the usual outlets.
Highland Seer will be out soon.
Jamie seems to have been talking a little too much for his own good.
Yup, I agree. Sounds like Jamie was telling tales. I’m intrigued, though. I want to know what he told her!
Very intriguing. Definitely raises questions: was he telling the truth about things he shouldn’t? Or, was he telling her fictional stories to hide something else?
It sounds like pigtail-pulling to me, teasing the tagalong? And I wonder if his tall tales will turn out to be true . . .
Questions! I hope we hear the answers. Intriguing snippet!
Nice flow, nice writing, and nice snippet! Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fun snippet and intriguing!
I’m curious about what stories were told and what story is about to be told. Intriguing snippet.
I suspect he’s going to regret his past tales. Nice.
Oh, he’s in for a real teasing now. Poor guy! (BTW, my brain is off center today, I first read the title as Highland SLOTH!!!)
Ah telling tale tales. I wonder what else he told her that wasn’t true? I wonder if she’ll question everything he tells her now that she thinks that? I’m curious what he said to here. Good job on leaving the reader with lots of questions.
